aiKIDo

aiKIDo is an app workshop where children develop app ideas and the teacher controls every use of AI.

As a web application for classroom use. Still in development, not in use.

Who it is for and what it is for: For primary schools, grades 3 and 4, and for teachers who want to show children how an app is made.
What it does: Children work in anonymous groups and plan a simple app in guided steps, such as a quiz or a flashcard game.
A preview can be tried out right in the classroom.
A check blocks personal data such as names, ages and photos.
The teacher reviews the idea and approves it.
What stays with people: The teacher controls all use of AI. Children have no accounts and no direct access to AI. No personal data is used.
What comes out: An app plan from the group and a preview that can be tested. If wanted, a task description for an AI tool, reviewed by the teacher.
Where it runs: As a web application for classroom use. Still in development, not in use.
