This page briefly explains which data is processed when you visit mcsq.tech. The short answer: only what is needed to deliver the site and to run the contact form.
Controller
Aliaksandr Varabyou, Gildenweg 59, 47608 Geldern, Germany. Email: alex.v@mcsq.tech. The website is operated for MCSQ TECH GmbH (in formation).
One language cookie, no tracking
This website uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. It sets a single cookie only when you click DE / EN at the top: the cookie “lang” stores your language choice for one year, so the home page opens in that language. It contains only “de” or “en”, is not evaluated and is needed for a function you asked for (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG); no consent is required. Without a click, the language is derived once from your browser’s language setting, without storing anything. We do not evaluate what you do on the site.
In your browser’s local storage (localStorage), under the key “theme”, the site stores only your choice between light and dark appearance. This value does not leave your browser and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. It is needed for a function you asked for (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and requires no consent.
Fonts
All fonts are delivered from our own server. There are no requests to Google Fonts or other font services.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, and delivered through its network. When you open the site, Vercel processes technical connection data (IP address, time of the request, page requested, browser type) in server logs for as long as needed for operation and security. Processing in the USA is possible. According to its own statements, Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 45 GDPR); its data processing agreement also contains the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure and stable operation of the website.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your name, your company (optional), your email address, the topic you chose, a product if you chose one, and your message, in order to handle your request. We do not use this information for advertising and do not create an account for you.
The form is sent to a function on Vercel and from there delivered to us as an email through the service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, USA). Resend acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR on the basis of a data processing agreement. The transfer to the USA (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR) relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR), which are part of this agreement. Your IP address is used in the function’s working memory to protect the form against abuse (limiting the number of submissions per address). The function does not store it permanently or write it to its application logs. Vercel processes technical connection data, including the IP address, as described above under “Hosting”. The function does not write your message to its application logs either; the message itself reaches us as an email and is kept and deleted as described below.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request aims at a conversation or a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (handling requests and protection against abuse). We delete your request once it is dealt with, after 6 months at the latest, unless a legal retention duty applies.
Contact by email
If you write to us directly, we store your message and your address in order to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the correspondence when it is no longer needed.
